TTNTBF - Things That Need To be Fixed

Five guys from Munich known as Things That Need To Be Fixed or TTNTBF for short. With their music they want to improve your mood and motivate you to keep becoming a better version of yourself. Feel like the world can’t be fixed? Let’s start with you. Accordingly, the songs don’t only deal with the big issues of mankind, but also with spaceships & dinosaurs. Because change must also be fun, TTNTBF's specialty is throwing parties with fat music while spreading positive energy and cosmopolitanism. This is accompanied by catchy melodies with interludes of massive breakdowns. Appropriately, the vocals are innocently poppy at one point, but all the more powerful at other times. Influences from pop-punk, metalcore and hip-hop meet. Close friends of the band have already aptly described this balancing act of moods as “Britney goes Bree”. You can tell: the guys don't take themselves too seriously, so a big live party is almost inevitable.

REVIEWS AND PRESS-COVERAGE

"Rather trophy-like results"

Although I am a creature of habit by nature, I'm extremely excited about the new sounds at THINGS THAT NEED TO BE FIXED. Since you can never put off your expectations, you actually have to try many songs two or three times until you realize how well they work. Roughly in the style of bands like "CHUNK! NO, CAPTAIN CHUNK" and "SINK THE SHIP", Things are not afraid to allow other inspirations and varied melodies, and thus achieve rather trophy-like, independent results. Anyone who likes pop-punk outside the clichés and lyrics with substance and a message has found their new favorite dealer here.

 DARKSTARS

"Fresh and unspent"

This rather young band from Munich has dedicated itself to a crossover sound of metal / punk / core / rap / and even poppy sounds. The result on the record "NEVEREST" sounds fresh and unspent, you can hear it at all the corners and edges of the youthful carelessness of the group. All songs are quite different and there is a lot of emphasis on variety. While you may recognise idols of theirs like "A DAY TO REMEMBER“ here and there, they have to offer fans of the genre quite a lot.

 HANDLEMEDOWN

"Accurately propulsive songwriting"

THINGS NEAT TO BE FIXED from Munich prove that Easycore is no longer a US domain. Because the fivepiece picks up on the style of bands like A DAY TO REMEMBER and blends it bluntly with their own Pop-Punk and Metal-Hardcore influences. The proven mix of melody and mosh also works in the Bavarian version, whereby in terms of sound quality hardly any international comparisons have to be shuned. The dozen tracks turn out to be a lively genre mix, which guarantees a constant movement through numerous breaks in tempo and rhythm.

"Creating their own world on NEVEREST"

In order give you an impression of the production: An international standard is easily reached - unbelievable how much pressure is generated and still the subtleties of the individual compositions are worked out. THINGS THAT NEED TO BE FIXED make use of a wealth of genres and create their own world on "NEVEREST". Since this is surprisingly and powerfully implemented and the young men act with a lot of fun, the album has become no plagiarism, but a master's thesis, which convinces with many references.

"Brings fans of different genres into a joint moshpit"

The nice thing about "NEVEREST" is that it brings fans of different genres into a joint moshpit! At the same time, THINGS THAT NEED TO BE FIXED do not chum up to anyone or give the impression that they are trying to please everyone. On the contrary, the guys have found their style and are not afraid to cross and merge musical boundaries, which at first glance do not really belong together. The result is an energetic record that should be quite a monster live.

"Every song surprises"

 SUEDDEUTSCHE

THINGS THAT NEED TO BE FIXED from Munich mix their influences from punk, metalcore and rap to an ambitious form of pop-punk. Each of the tracks is characterized by gripping choruses, carried by the clean, mostly two-part vocals, catchy lead guitars and fast punk riffs. But as they additionally have rapped transitions, hard screams and massive breakdowns - every song surprises. And that's exactly how they distance themselves from pure feel-good-punk.
